Steve Smiley is a 25 year resident of Colorado Springs, Colorado where he and his wife Deanna have raised their three daughters Ashley, Shelby and Courtney. He and his family began traveling to Nicaragua with Corner of Love in 2011 and he has acted as a team leader numerous times as former Co-Chapter Leader for Corner of Love in Monument Colorado.
Steve has previously served on Corner of Love’s Board of Directors and currently advises on business matters and human resources. He is a graduate of Texas Tech University with a business degree in management information systems and currently responsible for operations at One Child. His passion for serving kids who live in challenging parts of the world has helped build up powerful global efforts to do the seemingly impossible: break the cycle of poverty. His business skills and Christ-centered wisdom also changed our mission’s trajectory in an immensely positive way over the last two decades.
Steve is an active supporter of juvenile diabetes research and numerous local and global charities including protecting our national forests.
