Dr. Heather Varnell serves on the Board of Directors for Corner of Love and has been involved with the ministry since 2011. Along with her family, she has been on several medical missions to serve the impoverished population of North Nicaragua and has helped raised awareness in the greater Denver-area. She graduated from the University of Colorado School of Medicine in 2002 and works in Denver, CO where she specializes in Adolescent Medicine, Pediatrics and Internal Medicine/Pediatrics. Dr. Varnell’s tender care of Corner of Love’s youngest refugee clients is an amazing thing to witness. Her fluent Spanish-language skills and immensely caring way with little ones who have suffered unthinkable tragedy in Nicaragua has inspired many to join in Corner of Love’s efforts. She is affiliated with Denver Health Medical Center and is raising her family in Littleton with her husband, Charles.
