Corner of Love warmly welcomed Anita, who joined our team from the great state of Colorado, in 2021. She is a mother of three and Colorado native who decided to help in a big way after seeing the good that COL does for desperate refugees. Before she got involved her eldest daughter had participated on many Corner of Love trips. Since her own involvement began, she has acted as a mission trip leader twice and now returns annually to serve at Corner of Love’s Relief Center in northern Costa Rica. Her own frequent volunteering makes her well-equipped to answer questions, coordinate team members arrivals and departures, and get all applicants ready for their one week trip. Anita is an avid tennis player, hiker, and fitness fan, and loves taking adventures with her husband, Mike.
