Human Rights Advocacy Mission To Washington D.C. 3

Dates: April 12, 2019 – April 18, 2019

Trip Description

Our mission finds itself at the very center of the Nicaragua crisis that has left more than 400 dead at the hands of state-sponsored paramilitaries and Nicaraguan police. The gross human rights violations and repression of unarmed citizens has caused us to join the international community in denouncing the Ortega-Murillo Regime’s atrocious crimes against humanity.

Join this important battle and be a part of one of Corner of Love’s six-day trips to Washington D.C. As part of our team you’ll visit U.S. Senate, Congress, and other organizations to help advocate for steps toward peace in Nicaragua.

Participants will have the opportunity to personally voice their concerns to government representatives, join a community event aimed at raising awareness, and meet numerous concerned leaders at places like the Organization of American States.

Whether you have lent your voice to peace before or this is your first time to The Hill, we are sure you will find this mission to be a voice for the voiceless very special.

We need as many people as possible. Please join us!
