 ip\n\n\n\nTrip Description\n\nIt’s not too late to make 2027 the year yo
 u step out on mission & serve vulnerable refugee families in need!\n\nJoin
  us for impactful days of service with Corner of Love where your gifts wil
 l be used to lighten the load of vulnerable families who have fled their o
 wn countries. Were you born in a safer place than refugees? Draw on your o
 wn freedoms and blessings to help those who faced danger\, left\, and have
  now arrived in a new place.\n\nMore than 700\,000 Nicaraguans have poured
  into Costa Rica over the last six years\, weary and burdened with the dan
 gerous situation in Nicaragua. Most who cross the border arrive with littl
 e more than the clothes on their backs and their personal story of how the
 y escaped violent repression against the defenseless citizens of Nicaragua
 .\n\nIn response to this migration crisis Corner of Love has established a
  headquarters close to the Costa Rica-Nicaragua border to provide relief. 
 Every day more refugees arrive from Nicaragua\, and some also come from Ve
 nezuela\, Cuba\, Haiti\, Angola\, and other nations. Help us show Jesus’
  love for them and lend a hand to those trying to resettle in Costa Rica.\
 n\nConsider joining this team and be a part of their new beginning in life
 . This group will stay near Dreams Las Mareas in Costa Rica and each parti
 cipant purchases their own flight into LIR\, Liberia\, Costa Rica. (Altern
 atively\, you may arrive in San José (SJO) and take your own transportati
 on to our headquarters\, which is 5 hours from SJO airport.)\n\nEach trip 
 participant will volunteer daily to organize supplies and set up Corner of
  Love’s Relief Center to serve migrant families. All team members will h
 ave the opportunity to meet and pray with refugees on their journey. Our g
 roup will provide clothing\, medicine\, towels\, blankets\, toiletries\, a
 nd bibles to hundreds during the mission trip.\n\nSince 2000 Corner of Lov
 e has been providing humanitarian aid to Nicaraguans in need\, leading as 
 many as 30 medical-dental-optical groups per year. We are needed now more 
 than ever. We hope you’ll join us!\n\nTrip Cost\n\n\n 	$1950 payable in 
 the U.S. (We welcome additional fundraising for our Relief Center. [Additi
 onal $500 fundraising goal for refugee medicine suggested\, but not requir
 ed. Corner of Love operates a full Rx pharmacy and all treatments are disp
 ensed free of charge to refugees.])\n 	$100 envelope for Costa Rica spendi
 ng money for tips/Left Right Center game/ice cream/treats in town (all opt
 ional)\n 	$75-100 (recommended amount) for spending money\n\n\nAll team me
 mbers may solicit 100% tax deductible donations in connection with their t
 rip cost by using Corner of Love’s EIN No. 36-4612230. These contributio

 ia\, Costa Rica)\n\n\n 	ARRIVAL DAY: September 16\, 2027\n 	DEPARTURE DAY:
  September 21\, 2027\n\n\nAll team members buy their own plane ticket and 
 give Corner of Love a copy of their flight itinerary. ANY flight arriving 
 and departing on the indicated dates is fine. It is okay to register for a
  trip before purchasing airfare\, just indicate “not yet booked” and s
 end when you buy your plane ticket.\n\nAlternative Itinerary (we recommend
  the SUGGESTED ITINERARY above)\n\nYour city to SJO (San Jose\, Costa Rica
 )\n\nAlternatively\, you could fly in or out of San Jose and take a bus to
  or from Liberia/La Cruz. Note that this route takes 4.5 – 5 hours or mo
 re\, as you will need to travel by land to La Cruz. You would likely need 
 to arrive a day or more before the suggested arrival day.\n\nEarly Arrival
 s to Costa Rica /Later Departures from Costa Rica\n\nCosta Rica has much t
 o offer as far as tourism. For Corner of Love it is no problem if you choo
 se to fly in before the suggested arrival day or stay after the suggested 
 departure day.\n\nAt the request of participants\, here are a few tips abo
 ut Liberia-area accommodations:\n\nMany team members choose to come in one
  day early to rest a bit before the mission starts. We recommend HILTON LI
 BERIA for this. They have a free shuttle from the airport. On most trips a
 t least one or two Corner of Love participants opt to stay at the HILTON b
 efore the mission start date. If you book at the HILTON\, plan on taking t
 heir free shuttle (let them know you are arriving) and take your mission c
 argo luggage to the hotel.\n\nFor those who want to do some shopping\, we 
 recommend BEST WESTERN LIBERIA\, which is right across the street from Lib
 eria Walmart. (Shuttle to/from airport available for a fee)\n\nFor those w
 ho like mountain and National Park activities\, zip lining\, animals\, and
  authentic Costa Rican outdoor fun\, we can suggest hotels in the Fortuna/
 Arenal and Rincon de la Vieja areas.\n\nIf you are looking for a beach hol
 iday\, there are HUNDREDS of choices. We would be glad to share tips about
