Corner of Love’s dorm in Nicaragua has been lovingly cleaned, the pantry has been stocked and the staff has been briefed and prepared to receive well over 100 volunteers who will be coming from all over the United States, Bermuda, and Japan over the next eight weeks. These teams will bring over 10,000 lbs. of critical medicine, toiletries, clothing and shoes to distribute to impoverished Nicaraguans living in San Ramon it’s surrounding rural villages. They hope to provide medical treatment, dental care and humanitarian supplies to roughly 10,000 people. 24 kids between the ages of 8 and 17 are serving on the Deeds of Joy #2 brigade; demonstrating you are never too young to make a difference. Corner of Love welcomes our missionaries to Nicaragua and thanks them for their service.
